Hi there! I’m Marelyn!

The heart and lens behind Marelyn Correa Photography.

 

 

I was born in Venezuela, where in 2007 I opened my very first photography studio. From the very beginning, my passion was capturing the beauty of newborns, babies, and motherhood. I was proud to be a member of AVECOFA (The Association of Venezuelan Photographers) and to serve families during such meaningful moments in their lives.

Years later, life took me to the beautiful Sunshine Coast of Australia, where my love for photography continued to grow. I earned my Diploma in Photography and Photo Imaging from TAFE Queensland and expanded my creative vision through both studio and landscape work. In 2018, I received two Silver Awards in Landscape Photography at the AIPP Awards in Australia.

In 2019, I moved to Kissimmee, Florida, and found a community that quickly felt like home. Since then, I’ve become a proud member of PPA (Professional Photographers of America) and earned multiple international awards, including Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze distinctions, in prestigious competitions. My work has been published in photography magazines, and I’ve been honored to be recognized as:

• One of Orlando’s Rising Stars by Orlando Voyager

• One of the Best Newborn and Maternity Photographers in Orlando by Expertise, five years in a row

 

What I love most about my job is the connection, with the little ones I photograph, with the parents who trust me, and with the stories we create together. There’s nothing quite like capturing a baby’s first days, a mother’s radiant glow, or the joy of a child’s milestone.

When I’m not in the studio, you’ll often find me chasing sunsets and creating landscape and long exposure photography, a passion that keeps my creativity alive.
